Welcome to the website for the 2014 version of the market leading Middle Eastern Base Oils & Lubricants conference. In 2014 the conference will once again deliver timely and relevant market information combined with unparalleled networking opportunities, and will build on the momentum generated by the 2013 conference. In 2013 the event was attended by more than 350 base oils and lubricants professionals from across the world.
The Middle East continues to develop new capacity for base oil production. Much of this new production is intended for global export. This will likely have an effect on global supply and demand, and the 2014 conference will therefore explore this issue in detail. The conference will also explore how the move towards higher quality base oils in the region will impact the market, and highlight the growth products and new market opportunities in the region. The conference will focus on the key trends in end use products, with special focus on the automotive industry.
The 2013 conference included a well-received optional seminar on new technological developments in additives, which took place before the main event. Due to popular demand we will offer another in-depth seminar in 2014, which will cover a critical aspect of the base oils and lubricants industry. Watch this space for future announcements relating to the seminar topic for 2014.
